July 3-14, 2006
The first ever week long camps were held at Camp Brittney. Brittney Strom Foundation Board Members Sarah Perry and Kenneth Bledsoe, along with Daryl Buzhardt from Saluda, SC flew down to help get things ready. The Costa Rica mission team from El Luga Church led by Pastor Chino staffed the camp. Sarah Perry also stayed at camp for both weeks to be in charge of crafts, organization, etc. Sarah also wrote daily camp updates. As you can see, God is certainly at work!
On July 1, 2006 a second baptismal was held at Camp Brittney. Kenneth Bledsoe, President of the Brittney Strom Foundation, Walter "Chino" Acuña, pastor of El Lugar Church in Costa Rica, and Gabriel Muñoz, pastor of the Los Guido Church also in Costa Rica took part in the baptismals. Nineteen people were baptized!
